The New Hampshire Trust Company is a state-chartered trust and investment management firm, serving individual investors, corporations and non-profits. We are examined and regulated by the State of New Hampshire Department of Banking.
Located in Keene, New Hampshire, our firm was chartered on June 12, 2002. We are unique among fiduciary and investment advisors for our combination of strategic partners which include highly successful, locally focused independent trust specialists, as well as a larger team of expert New Hampshire-based trust and wealth management professionals.
The focus and purpose of the New Hampshire Trust Company is to provide a full array of trust and investment management services where our customers reside. We feel very strongly that in order to truly meet our client’s financial objectives, we must have a strong relationship and regular, ongoing communication. As a locally based firm, we also believe strongly in the importance of giving back to the communities which are such an important part of our livelihood.
A long-term plan for the benefit of our clients, our employees and our community.
On September 30, 2019, we announced a development that will enable us to continue providing the excellent, expert local service to which our clients are accustomed – as well as a strong commitment to our local community — for decades to come.
We have signed an agreement to join MillRiver Wealth Management of Concord, and SBW Wealth Management (the financial planning and investment management division of Savings Bank of Walpole) based here in Keene, NH to form a unified financial advisory firm.
Later this year, we plan to change the combined company name to New Hampshire Trust & Wealth Management to honor the history of each individual firm in our new alliance.
Once we receive all regulatory approvals, our newly unified financial advisory firm will be a wholly owned subsidiary of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), which is also the parent company of Savings Bank of Walpole. NHMB is a mutual organization without stockholders — which we believe helps ensure locally focused stability for the long term.
